The antique envelopes and the copy of Fr. Joseph Marcoux’s attestation pictured are not included in this sale and are only pictured to add to the authenticity of this listing. Kateri ex ossibus reliquaries were produced prior to her beatification (June 22, 1980) and canonization (October 21, 2012). A number of these reliquaries still exist at the Auriesville Shrine Colosseum and are venerated every year on July 14th, Kateri’s Feast Day. Auriesville Shrine is near the location of Ossernenon, the Mohawk Lower Castle village where Fr. Rene Goupil were martyred and is the birthplace of Kateri (Catherine) Tekakwitha. The reliquary and documents shown in this listing came from the Auriesville Jesuits Retreat House prior to buildings sale. Guaranteed authentic and open to offers. Sale includes the reliquary, COA, small monstrance and photocopy of the attestation letter. Threads and wax seal are undamaged. The theca measures 1 1/4″ inches diameter and monstrance is 3 3/4″ inches high. Guaranteed authentic and open to all offers. The background envelopes and the original copy of Fr. Triple Grooved 3/4 Axe or Ax. 8.00 inches or 203.2 mm. 2.50 inches or 63.59 mm. 2.27 inches or 57.658 mm. Late Archaic 3,000 to 1,000 Before Present. This is his original listing. This is a very Large and heavy Triple Grooved 3/4 ax or axe. These are very rare and hard to find. The base has a deep trench groove from bit to Poll end. There are multiple pecking marks from manufacture in primitive times. Prevalent patina and ground aging and measures over 8 Long. This item was recovered in 2 pieces. It’s a tight fit and was repaired with JB weld. I’ve been an avid collector for 40 years plus. Most of the points I sell are personal finds and are guaranteed authentic.
