ULTRA RARE TONY AGUILAR Sr. Of SANTO DOMINGO KEWA HEISHI TURQUOISE NECKLACE. This is a museum quality vintage Santo Domingo brass, stone and shell necklace. This outstanding piece was handmade by one of the most famous Santo Domingo artists in history, Tony Aguilar Sr. Resting at the ends of the necklace are marvelous large brass cones with his remarkable hallmark on each cone. Resting throughout the necklace are phenomenal tan shell heishi that graduate in size along with graduating turquoise heishi, green stone heishi and sand stone heishi. Signed by Santo Domingo artist, Tony Aguilar Sr. The length of the necklace measures 19. This is perhaps the finest piece from my mothers collection. She never wore the jewelry. All of the jewelry I have listed on my store just sat in storage since then.
