Rare Hopi Water Pitcher Nampeyo Late 19th Century Native American Clay
Very rare Hopi Water Pitcher. Believed to be crafted by the great potter Nampeyo. Unsigned, made from native clay and paints. 8″ tall by 10″ at the widest point. Opening about 6″ x 4.5″. Excellent condition, has had no restoration to its form and no structural damage. There are minor “hairline” cracks which are most definitely attributable to the item’s age. Please carefully review the photos as they are part of the description.
