A rare, large, and hard to find authentic Apache Gourd canteen for water storage with hand carved wooden plug or stopper. Large size measures: 17 inches tall x 11 inches x 9 inches. I bought this in person in Arizona 40 years ago from an elderly gentleman who’s father had run aa trading post. Old red, white, and blue trade beads. Looks like old tree resin wrapped around base of neck section to waterproof and strengthen; maybe some type of old cord with resin covering it. Remarkable to still find intact. Approximately 150 years old. Great tribal use Native American Indian antique for display in your home or office.

A great historical museum piece. This wonderful rug/blanket features the traditional designs which are very hard to find in today’s market. The colors are a gray wheat background with dark brown edges with red accents. The rugs still in amazing condition, considering it’s age, and that it is hand woven of authentic materials. This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of history! MAKER: An unknown Navajo weaver. AGE: Circa 1860s to 1870s. 27 1/2 by 35 1/2 inches long. CONDITION: Pretty good for its age, some wear expected with some fraying in the middle edge.
