During the 1930’s San Diego City Clerk Allen Wright Collected autographs of pretty much everyone famous that passed through town – Generals, Admiral, Pilots, Politicians, Actors. All of the autographs from the album are guaranteed. In 1935, Wright Collected this autograph of Chief Little Bison, a Lakota Sioux Chief, who as a boy survived the Battle of Wounded Knee. His uncle was Sitting Bull; his cousin was Crazy Horse. During the silent film era, while carrying on the traditions of the tribe, Chief Little Bison acted in Films and performed riding stunts. There are photos of Chief Little Bison with Cecile DE Mille. I’d label this autograph as ultra- rare.
