Authentic 18th century blacksmith forged Indian spike tomahawk. The level of artistry reflects the status of the warrior who carried this hawk. Condition, except for a tiny edge nick on the bit, as shown (exaggerated in the photo). There are expected signs of surface wear, but not much. Overall the deep patina has superficial signs of exposure and oxidation. But retains a lot of original. The very tip of the spike is flattened. Talking about just enough (about one mm across). So it wouldn’t poke through and puncture. Indian horseman carrying it in his belt. Measurement: 8 7/8 inches long. Bit: 3 7/8 inches wide. The item “SUPERB NATIVE AMERICAN 18th CENT.
