Beautiful pair of moccasins. This set has really great detailing to them and each one measures roughly 10.5 long.. There is some surface wear and spotting from age. The bottoms look to have been reinforced. Please see all photos for details and feel free to ask any questions. With delightful age patina. The Basket is constructed with tiny weavers. Exceptional craftmanship was required, to weave this little beauty. Antique, Miniature Ollah Coiled Baskets, such as this, are Extremely Hard to find. The tightly woven aspect of this Basket, would have required great skill, and time, to weave. The Basket was made with two shades of natural dyes. With Darker Weavers, making up the Diamond Design, that encircles the body. View the photos, of the inside and bottom, to see the tightness of the weave. A striking “one of a kind” piece of Antique, Native American Folk Art. Its natural, deep mellow patina, is the product of great age. Beautiful, and Clean condition. It has some damage to a few Weavers, on the top rim, and neck. These cause no structural or decorative problems. The whole Basket structure is very secure. Please review the photographs for the condition. The Basket measures approximately 5″×4″. This amazing bracelet contains 3 center blue-green turquoise stones which appear to be from, the now depleted, Blue Gem turquoise mine. Surrounding the stone are fabulous silver and beautiful dotted works, which beautifully frame each bezeled turquoise stone. Resting at the sides of the wonderful rounded double silver shank cuff are marvelous unique shaped silver flanks of silver beads on each side of tri-center stone design. Such a remarkable old bracelet. Measurements are Approximate: Diameter: 2-1/4″ Width of band at center 7/8″ then tapers to 3/16 on both sides. 3 center oval turquoise stones, each measuring approximately 3/16″ x 3/16″ There are 2 sterling silver beads on each side of center design. This antique Passamaquoddy sewing basket originates from Maine and is intricately braided with sweetgrass, reflecting the craftsmanship of the Passamaquoddy tribe. Perfect for collectors of Native American artifacts, this basket is a unique and historically significant piece that embodies the traditional artistry of the Passamaquoddy people.
