The central variscite cabochon is very large, 2 1/2″ x 1 1/4″, and it rises above the plain Sterling silver bezel by 1/8. The bezel is rimmed with silver wire rope. The cab is deep green with six small, lighter green “bubbles” and a beautiful web of butterscotch matrix. The two triangular cabs on the wings are approximately 1″ x 1″ and as striking as the large cab. Gem-quality variscite occurs far more rarely than turquoise, and variscite gems of this quality and beauty are extremely rare. The cuff has six gem quality spiny oyster cabochons, also set in plain Sterling bezels, and they perfectly enhance the variscite. The cuff itself is quite heavy, deeply stamped Sterling silver. The back is stamped with Bicenti’s signature mark, a D over an arrow and with STERLING. This is a sterling silver Navajo handmade ring, it features a natural, rare gem grade Nevada Prince Variscite stone. The stone is a beautiful yellow/green color with a webbed matrix. The stone sits in a smooth bezel with a hand twisted rope of silver at the base. The silver work is beautiful! Andy set the stone on top of a split shank band, and added four silver drops to each side of the stone. Andy finished the silver work with a beautiful high shine.
