Rare early Navajo CERRILLOS TURQUOISE coin silver whirling logs cuff bracelet
It is thought to date from the 1930s. It was beaten from coin silver and enhanced with 3 bezel-set, hand-cut cabochons of green Cerrillos turquoise, and further enhanced with lots of stamp work which includes arrows, equal-armed crosses and whirling logs. One of the three stones has a stable crack of sufficient age to be worn down a bit. The bracelet is 1-1/8 wide and 6 around, with a 1-3/8 gap. It weighs 39 grams on my scale.
