VERY RARE ANTIQUE POMEGRANATE ZUNI STERLING TURQUOISE SQUASH BLOSSOM With EARRINGS
Very rare and gorgeous sterling and turquoise Zuni Squash Blossom necklace in the pomegranate four peddle sterling flower design with matching earring studs, also in the Pomegranate style , by Zuni artist. Pre-dates the 1960’s. This old pawn necklace is 28 inches from end to end. It has 16 squash / pomegranate blossoms, each containing a Star-like pattern of matchstick and needlepoint carved turquoise. The Naja has the same continuous pattern of matchstick and needlepoint turquoise stones. All of the sterling beads are handmade and not mass produced. Condition is near perfect and almost unworn with an aged patina. These four peddle flowers are much rarer and valuable than the common three peddle squadh blossoms. Thank you for looking.
