Sonny added the stamens and leaves to his floral jewelry. This is one of the many books published about their lives and their impressive jewelry. A little info: Anselm Wallace, Zuni, was born circa 1935. He was well-known for his flower design, often referred to as a Desert Rose. Anselm collaborated with his wife, Rosita Wallace, who is known for her butterflies. The Wallaces did not begin signing their work until 1979. They have been noted in many books on Zuni jewelry making and won many awards for their creations. Sadly, Anselm passed away in September 2011 and his wife passed away in February 2012, so all available pieces in the market by husband and wife are one-of-a-kinds and highly collectible.
