Patty Fawn is a very well known artist and carver of the animals of the Pacific Northwest. She also works with sterling and I have had the honor of owning 2 of her rings which are unlike anything else I have ever seen. Her artwork pieces have been in several galleries and museums. This piece is of an intricately carved Killer Whale with abalone shell inlay. I would probably go with some kind of string/thread and knot it Asian style. But that’s just my opinion.
