This listing is for a rare mid-century Navajo belt buckle made by David Garcia. It is made of sterling silver, Kingman Turquoise, and a center inlay portion using Mother of Pearl and Mediterranean Coral. This handcrafted buckle is bursting with color and depth. A beautiful array of 10 natural Kingman stones circle around the outer edge. They are set in tall handmade bezels that pop off the top of the dark oxidized buckle. Each stone has just the right amount of matrixes to match up perfectly with its neighboring stone. They have strong vivid shades of blue and green along with heavy black and tan matrixes. Large silver droplets rest between each stone running along the outer edge. The center of the buckle features a tall raised bezel filled with a gorgeous slab of white mother of pearl. The bezel which holds the oval slab is in great condition being completely hand forged. At the center of the mother of pearl is a highly detailed inlaid cardinal using Mediterranean coral and onyx. This is truly stunning inlay work by Garcia. This design is rather common for other types of jewelry pieces, like cuff bracelets and pendants, however it is very rare to find this design featured on a belt buckle….. Its a very unique find and a must have for the avid collector of fine Native American jewelry. The swivel belt keeper and hook located on the back is completely handcrafted and in MINT condition. A rectangular plate is also placed on the back with the Artists name. A fantastic find for both men and women. Will make an excellent addition to any existing Native American jewelry collection or could be the perfect piece to start one. The size is perfect… Not too big or gaudy, yet not so small it wont be seen. This piece is one to cherish and enjoy for now…… And hand down to loved ones in the future. Weight – 56 Grams. This listing is for a vintage Zuni Native American ring made of sterling silver and turquoise. This is a very rare and unique piece as you can see from the photos. The face of the ring is round in shape and made of solid sterling silver. Several petite point turquoise stones along with one center snake eye stone cover the entire surface taking on a gorgeous sunburst design. Classic silver ropes compliment the circular rows of stones while silver droplets rest between each petite point stone. Each stone resides in a finely etched sawtooth bezel. All of the stones are original and in great condition with the exception of 2 stones with hairline cracks. These particular stones are still very secure in their settings like the rest. They have beautiful colors ranging from light sky blue to dark hunter green, with a few of the stones having natural matrixes. What makes this ring so unique is the band. The band is not your typical center mount. Its made to wear just like any other ring except instead of it laying over the middle of your finger, it rests in between two fingers. The band is very wide and the reason for this is to help hold the ring face in place. I have the ring on my pinky finger in the last photos and you can see how the ring face lays perfectly centered over my two fingers. Its a very comfortable piece considering its design and the width of the band truly helps to hold the ring face in place. Ive never seen a Zuni made ring like this however, Im never surprised when I come across something new and different. Native Americans were always trying out different methods and techniques when making jewelry. Perhaps this wasnt their most popular on demand style, therefore not many were made… Making it rare indeed! This will make a great addition to any collection of fine Native American jewelry and a MUST HAVE for any avid collector…. Not only is it a great conversation piece but its a great piece to wear too! Its very current and would be perfect with todays bohemian trends! Cherish and enjoy this tangible asset for now….. And hand it down to your loved ones in the future. Size – 5.5. Weight – 13.5 Grams. Ring Face Measures – 1-1/4 from side to side/ in diameter. Total Number of Stones – 41 stones; 40 petite point, and 1 snake eye. Petite Point Stones Measure – 1/4 long on the outer row and 3/16 long on the inner row. Snake Eye Stone Measures – 1/16 in diameter. Band Measures – 3/8 wide. Signed by Artist – NO. Stamped Sterling – NO, tested and verified. Later Mid-Century, 1970s-1980s. Condition – Preowned, in very good vintage condition with original stones and patina, ready to wear or display, 2 of the stones have slight inclusions that do not affect the ring or its wearability. I treat every item as if it were my own. Extra bubble wrap and packing materials are used to ensure a safe arrival to its new owner. Please see all 12 photos!! Enlarge them and study them.
