Rare Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Raised Inlay Turquoise Ring UNIQUE
This listing features a very unique vintage Navajo ring made of sterling silver and turquoise. If youre looking for something a bit different from the average Navajo ring then look no further. This handcrafted ring features a thick wide band with 4 protruding inlays of the bluest turquoise weve seen in a while. The design is simple with clean lines yet, highly eye catching with the tall raised stones. Each stone is in excellent vintage condition, free from cracks or inclusions, portraying beautiful vivid hues of deep blue Caribbean waters. The two center stones are solid in color while the two outer stones have soft matching matrixes. The stones were hand-cut and polished in different sizes and shapes, leaving the ring with a very primitive look and feel. The shank is solid and hearty being made of heavy gauge solid silver and is perfectly round. This vintage ring will make a fantastic addition to any vintage Native American jewelry collection. Weight – 10 Grams. Ring face measures – 3/4 wide by 7/16 tall, the face has a thickness of 1/8 with the stones sticking out another 1/4…. Causing the ring face to sit on top of the finger at 3/8 high. Stone measurements – The two middle stones have a height of 1/4 while the two outer stones are slightly shorter… All four stones have a width of approx. 1/8 and a length of 3/8. Band measures – 3/16 wide at back center and gradually widens too 7/16 at the front sides. Signed by Artist – NO. Stamped Sterling – NO, tested and verified. Later Mid-Century, 1980s +. Condition – Preowned, in excellent vintage condition with original stone and slight patina, ready to wear or display. I treat every item as if it were my own.
