This’rock’ is believed to have been blown out upon eruption as compared to my only other piece with a volcano origin which’flowed’ down the volcano, hitching a ride in molten lava causing it to weigh a fraction of what this piece weighs. The intricate details of this handmade piece showcase the rich culture of Native American art in the United States. The provenance of this artifact is not available, but it is certain to be a valuable addition to any collection. The Cherokee tribe is known for their unique tribal affiliation and this piece is no exception. This super rare artifact is a testament to the skill and artistry of Native American artists and more proof that no stone (or stone-like substance) went unturned! It is a true piece of history and a valuable treasure for any collector. They were found within 50 yards of one another in north Louisiana USA.
