This handmade bangle bracelet has been the source of a mystery. Where did it come from, and what are the strange markings on it? It is believed to be a native american silver bangle bracelet, or, at the least, made in its style. The type of material is uncertain, so therefore it’s possible that it’s not made of silver, however, it is non-magnetic and has the look of tarnished silver. It also has some decent weight to it (1.1 ounces), heavier than what I’d expect it to weigh. The symbols are engraved into the piece itself, and what looks like paint poured into them. It is deeper than surface level. The markings could also be Aztec or Mayan in design. It’s entirely possible that you’re receiving a quality, museum piece at a severe discount or a reproduction made much later. What can be certain about the piece is that it’s, at the least, a vintage jewelry piece with unique markings that is sure to spark conversations among friends and family.
