RAREOld PawnNATIVE AMERICANNavajoSquash Blossom NecklaceSTERLING 138grams
RAREVINTAGENATIVE AMERICANNavajoSquash Blossom NecklaceSTERLING. This is rare to see nine najas. I have had squash blossoms with the usual turquoise and wanted one that would be more unique. I also could wear it and not be concerned if it matched what I was wearing. I waited patiently for a couple years and found this masterpiece. It is unsigned as it was made early 1900s, before traders and tourists desired marks such as 925 and Sterling. I will be listing more amazing Native American pieces so please stop in again. Natives only began using silver when introduced to it by Europeans in the 1800s. Originally they actually melted the US silver dollar to design their amazing crafts such as the squash blossom necklace. Ive always loved their process of sand casting. This necklace is an excellent example. 28 3/4 long from each clasp. Center naja approximately 3. Surrounding Najas approximately 1 1/4. Weight is as pictured. I have not polished and leave the patina on. Please review pictures for details. Feel free to ask questions and make offer as I might accept a decent one. Thank you for stopping by.
