Rare Native American TOMAHAWK war club tribal weapon Plains Indians stone beads
A fine Native American Tomahawk or war club made of stone, wood covered with leather, feathers and beads. The attached tag says’Shoshone warrior, Windriver Res, Hootchoo Collection. In my opinion it appears to be an object made in the tradition of classic Native American war clubs (mainly used before tomahawks with steel blades) – the leather doesn’t show significant signs of wear. Length is 44.5 cm.

Extremely Rare Native American 5 Hole Stone Gorget
This museum-quality gorget is a fine-grained sandstone breastplate symbolizing rank or authority and worn at the breast by suspension from the neck; it is usually rectangular or ovoid, flat and two-holed so that it will hang horizontally. The artisan who carved this large and extremely rare quadrilateral, five-hole gorget evidently intended to create a truly unique symbol; there are four evenly-spaced drilled perforations of equal size, a fifth, much larger medial perforation and all edges have been rounded. 5″ x 3.25″ x. 5 and in excellent condition. Recovered from Waterloo County in eastern Canada, near Niagara Falls, and previously number “56” in the Bates Collection, painted in red on one edge. Is attributed to the Eastern Woodlands culture. If not to U.

AMAZING! Native American Stone Reliquary Ca. 1000CE. ARKANSAS FIND. RARE
Native American Stone Reliquary Ca. With a large group of “chip hatchets” known to date to the early Mississippian era, about. 1500 years ago, lasting for a thousand years. So they were found in one area by a farmer. And that’s how I have dated this. To say it’s rare is an understatement. It’s the only one I’ve ever seen. Would have been for preserving the venerated objects associated with tribal. Elder, perhaps a parent, or an ancestor. What would the contents have been? Conjecture: Beads, feathers, possibly hair or bones. One thing for sure: It’s real. It was part of a group that also included small. Paint pots and pottery. And everything was 100%. Size: (irregular) 5 1/2 inches across. 3 1/2 inches deep. Width of walls vary. About 3 1/2 inches plus or minus. CONDITION: Apparently damaged during find. The upper edge has. Significant loss along one side. Another has had two chips recovered. And glued back as shown. Note the “ruts” on the exterior of three sides. The inside opening is clearly hand worked as the incised striations caused. By a grinding stone are evident. The bottom is covered with a thin piece of deerskin. Put there to make it safe to display on wood or glass (by the original owner).

Very Rare actual Native American boat stone Artifact
Very Rare actual Native American boat stone Artifact. Found in Southeastern NC among other artifacts. Boat has a bow and a stern and sails. Brown body with smooth feel. Doesn’t feel like sandstone. But sail has green stone that does feel gritty like. When looking closely at bottom of boat and sail, it seems the entire boat seems to be made from a white stone then this brown and green was applied. Really hard and weighty stone. Could be a ceremonial piece or enjoyment. Measure 3-3/4″ high x 4-3/4″ long x 1-1/2 thick. Heavy and Weight is 1.13 pound.
