Derrick Cadman is a 3rd generation Navajo artist, his dad is Andy Cadman. With his dad and uncles Derrick has been surrounded by Navajo jewelers his entire life. He began creating his own unique style 3 years ago, his jewelry exhibits beautiful old style techniques with an amazing contemporary flare. Handmade by Navajo artist Derrick Cadman. This is a sterling silver handmade Navajo eagle pendant with a natural, rare Royston Turquoise stone. The stone is a green color a red/brown matrix. The stone sits in a hand cut stamped bezel with a rope of silver at the base. The silver work for this piece is amazing. Derrick cut and hand stamped the entire pendant with feathers and repousse bump outs, he gave this bracelet further depth by adding hand stamped feather shapes to the wings. This pendant measures 2-9/16 inch from top bale to bottom and is 2-3/4 inch at widest point. The bale has a 1/2 inch diameter, and the stone measures 3/4 inch by 1/2 inch. Weighs 32.7 grams.
