This original tintype depicts an American Indian chief in full regalia with a woman. The woman is unidentified and the native American man is apparently one of the members of Buffalo Bills show. This photo was taken in around the 1910’s in the San Gabriel valley area of Los Angeles, CA. The blown up image is simply to show the detail of the original tin type which can be included in the listing if so desired. Marked in pencil on back: San Gabriel This would make a great addition to your rare photographs collection. MEASUREMENTS: Tintype measures 4.5″ long by 3.75″ wide and weighs 1oz. CONDITION In generally good condition considering age and use (please see all photographs as they form part of the listing description).
