This rare handmade Native American Coushatta Pine Needle Wagon is a unique piece of art. The wagon was crafted by the Coushatta artisan and is a representation of the Coushatta Tribe’s culture. The Coushatta people have called the piney woods of Southwest Louisiana home for more than a century. The wagon is 6 inches long and 3 inches wide, with a weight of 8 ounces. The wagon’s provenance can be traced back to South West Louisiana, United States, where the Coushatta Tribe is located. The vintage wagon circa 1993 is a testament to the tribe’s rich cultural heritage. This piece is a must-have for collectors of Native American artifacts and enthusiasts of US culture.
Rare VTG Turquoise, Coral &Sterling Silver, Dishta Zuni Wagon Buckle & Bolo tie. This will include both the bolo tie and belt buckle. They are both marked VM Dishta (Zuni) for Virgil Dishta. I do not see a Sterling Silver marking but it is not unusual for older pieces. The inlay consists of turquoise, mother of pearl, and red coral. The tie of the bolo is a braided leather. The wheels on the bottom of the bolo actually roll. There is some wear and patina from aging but still in great condition. The intricate detail of this set makes it incredible to look at.
