The antique envelopes and the copy of Fr. Joseph Marcoux’s attestation pictured are not included in this sale and are only pictured to add to the authenticity of this listing. Kateri ex ossibus reliquaries were produced prior to her beatification (June 22, 1980) and canonization (October 21, 2012). A number of these reliquaries still exist at the Auriesville Shrine Colosseum and are venerated every year on July 14th, Kateri’s Feast Day. Auriesville Shrine is near the location of Ossernenon, the Mohawk Lower Castle village where Fr. Rene Goupil were martyred and is the birthplace of Kateri (Catherine) Tekakwitha.
