This is an old piece probably coin silver and unsigned. 11 large rectangular panels measuring 1 inch long by 3/4 of an inch wide. Unbelievable colors of reds, purples, rusts, oranges, yellows and browns in a beautiful glowing mixture. Hard to photograph it looks different every time I film it. Nice and sturdy with thick pieces of petrified wood solid bezel set. Handmade chain and heavy duty handmade clasp. I’m guessing from the 20s maybe 1930s. Original and Rare Native American carved wood walking stick by and signed by Chief Saucy, Osage tribe of Oklahoma signed into the cane. This carved cane has been in the collection of a NH woman for 50 years and she has asked me to sell it for her. It is a very important pc. For your consideration is this spectacular, rare example of vintage, collectible Native American Art. This fine, vintage, large Fred Harvey era bracelet is accented with a gorgeous, triangular shape petrified wood cabochon and features intricately hand etched and hand stamped tribal design all around the cuff. Nice vintage condition, patina, age appropriate wear. The piece is unmarked as most vintage Native American jewelry pieces, and has been tested for silver content. The inside circumference of the bracelet is about 6.5 including gap and can be carefully adjusted. The cuff weighs impressive 53.53 gr. Larger vintage Harvey era pieces with petrified wood cabochons are more scarce and are harder to find than the smaller ones. FINE RARE BIG NATIVE AMERICAN HOPI HAND CARVED w POTTERY HEADS, QUAD MUDHEAD KACHINA DANCER TREE made & signed by A. I believe it to be Hopi, It is really well done and in great paint & condition! Its RARE to find a Kachina Trees! Hand-painted wood carved Pottery Head beauties are adorned with leather, cloth and feathers. The Mudhead Kachina or The Koyemsi, is a clown who may be seen in most Hopi ceremonies. The term “Mudhead” comes from their masks which have mud applied to them, all made of Pottery in this case which is basically mud. They drum, dance and play games with their audience. The representation of the Deities are clothed in. Leather and paint decorated body & painted Pottery head. This tree is mounted on a wood base and accents the natural aspect of this carved wood figurines and the actual tree part they sit in. This masterful piece measures 22 tall. It is approx 20. ” Wide x about 7″ in diam at the base. It’s a really good Rare one cuz its hard to find them this fancy and 4 figures seated in a tree! The bottom of the round wooden base is written Mud Head Tree by A. This is probably from the 90’s or early 2000’s. If I could, I would take them off to pack this as it’s gonna be a bear. This is a rare. Original woodblock impression print done by Nancy J Young of Albuquerque NM. Nancy’s works are all over the world and her Native American and Aztec depictions are very highly sought. This Estate Fresh piece is titled ” Waiting For Gorman II ” on Nancy’s special paper (custom made) , matted and framed under glass. This shows a bit of the. Side of Ms Young as the image is clearly reflective of the outstanding works put out by the well known R C Gorman. And these 2 women are ” waiting for Gorman II ” to become subjects of his art, a great play on works. But Nancy is famous in her own right and this rare Artist Proof may well be one of a kind. This piece actually came from Nancy Youngs home where I found it and a few other choice works. It is really well done, a wonderful depiction, and a very nice piece of original. Incredible vintage root wood war club. This piece measures roughly 24 long and has some really great detailing to it. Presumably Native American Hopi, dating to the 1940’s through 1950’s.
