Rare Early Signed Gregory Lomayesva Hopi Folk Art, Hand-Carved Mask Native American. This carved wood piece is a huge 21″ wide x 14″ tall at the top of the feather. Greg Lomasyeva was Born in 1971 and has drawn his art from an assimilation of many aspects of life and fantasy combined. The Kachina styled figures are representative of his Hopi roots but NOT representative of actual Kachina figures. The feathers used are molted parrot feathers that add rich coloration to each work. This wonderful collectors piece is hand painted, decorated with very colorful feathers, and would make an amazing addition to any Native American, Hopi, or Southwest collection.
