Rare! Primitive Rawhide Sheath Very Old Native American Historic-Museum Worthy

This is an amazing piece. I wish this could talk and tell its story, it looks very, very old. It has a patina that can’t be faked. I’m guessing the red stripe that runs through the belt loop is the result of a red belt that was dyed red and the color has seeped into the sheath with the weather. This feels like it should be in a museum, someone thought enough of this to make a stand for it.
