Rare Native American Silver Fetish Animal And Bird Necklace Heavy 116 Grams. Here we have a flash from the past–a silver bead necklace with silver fetish beads of animals such as turtles, birds, badgers, fox and fish all interspersed among the silver tubular heishi, plus small round silver beads capping each animal. That design of liquid silver mixed with animal fetishes–it smacks of the 1970s! The fetishes are mold cast, and heavy. Since there are no sterling stamps–casting generally does not allow for a stamp–I did acid test one of the fetishes in an obscure underside of the long tail (since acid testing can leave a small lighter dot) and it did test positive for sterling silver. They have no hallmark, so while we can’t say for certain that they are Native American, we believe they are Zuni. The necklace is long at 34 total length end to end, and each of the 21 animal fetishes ranges from 3/4″ long to 1-1/4″ long. They are absolutely adorable and, again, have weight to them. A whopping 4 + ounces total or 115 grams. The piece is threaded on wire and ends with a hook and eye. The silver has a beautiful, kind of dark patina, and if you prefer I will be happy to give it a light polish. Very rare and hard to find extremely heavy great quality please see photos closely for condition and thanks for looking. This listing is for a vintage Navajo cuff bracelet made of sterling silver, turquoise, and a rarely used silver coin. This handcrafted Navajo piece has a classic design with a rarely used 1985 silver coin. The coin features a man kneeling down in a river panning for gold, with the words The American Prospector written beneath him and USA – 1985 written above. The opposite side of the coin features a flying eagle and the words, One Troy Ounce of Fine Silver. The coin itself isnt rare but, this particular coin being used in a piece of Native American jewelry is rare. A heavier gauge double shank made of solid sterling silver makes up the cuff. The shanks have a classic triangular shape with two end caps applied on the inside of each end. On each side of the cuff a single turquoise stone rests in a straight bezel between the two shanks. Twisted rope surrounds each stone over a thick bed of silver. Bright blue color hues with heavy matrixes, including shimmery pyrite, are featured within the two stones. They have a smooth satin finish and a long oval shape with the back of each one having a stamp by the Artist, J. This piece was designed to have a simple clean look, making sure the attention was directed towards the coin and two stones. Weighing in at 95 grams, this is a solid and sturdy made piece. This listing is for a vintage Navajo cuff bracelet, made of sterling silver and turquoise. This is a very unique and highly unusual Navajo cuff bracelet. The face features of an oval shaped bezel at the front center with a flush set turquoise stone that sits raised on top of an oval silver plate. The stone and bezel were uniquely shaped to resemble a desert storm as well as the silver work surrounding the stone and bezel. Raised silver works of cacti, birds, and a large setting sun surround the top half of the stone with the dark oxidized silver beneath them. The scene is beautifully done with a great amount of depth and dimension…. Truly a rare and magnificent piece of work. The stone itself has amazing color qualities of dark earthy greens and its matrixes and swirls of color changes make the scene even more realistic. The entire scene is surrounded with twisted rope running along the outer edge of the oval plate, along with large superior droplets to the east and west. Two additional plates of silver travel down the sides of the cuff having deep hand stampings and a scalloped edge coming to a point. The shank is thick and heavy with a smooth polished finish. Each end is slightly rounded off for comfort and has very little give. Its a solid piece weighing nearly 90 grams. The bracelets design is very unique…. Its definitely a one of a kind piece and conversation starter. This piece will make a great addition to any collection of fine Native American jewelry. Its contemporary style is perfect for todays trending styles. Cherish and enjoy this beauty for now….. And hand it down to a loved one in the future…. Weight – 89 Grams. Inner Circumference End to End – 5-7/8. Gap – 1 (slightly adjustable, up or down about 1/4). Total Inner Circumference Including Gap – 6-7/8 (will fit up too a 6-1/2 wrist comfortably). Width of Cuff Measures – 1-1/4. The entire desert scene portion, including the twisted rope measures 1-5/8 wide by 1-1/4 tall…. I would consider this the face of the cuff… Turquoise Stone Measures – 1-1/4 wide by 7/8 tall, and sits on top of the cuff 1/4 high. Signed By Artist – YES, Native American Artist, Troiano. Stamped Sterling – YES, tested and verified. Later Mid-Century, Late 1970s – Late 1980s. This listing is for a n older vintage Navajo ring made from sterling silver , turquoise, coral, and gold lip mother of pearl. This handcrafted Navajo ring is heavy and very unique!! Weighing in at 22 grams, this ring was created to be SEEN and make a STATEMENT! The ring was made with an extremely thick rectangular face and raised gem stone inlays including, turquoise, Mediterranean coral, and gold-lip mother of pearl. The most unlikely stone used in this piece is the GLMOP. Typically white mother of pearl is used, so in a sense this piece is somewhat rare. The GLMOP has a nice yellowish gold hue with an iridescent shiny finish. The four turquoise inlays look to be of gem grade quality with deep ocean blue hues and spotty matrixes, while the centered coral shows off soft red tones and natural veining. The stones have been hand filed and polished to a high gloss shine and sit raised inside hollowed out squares below. All nine gemstones are in perfect condition. Finishing the design are six large silver droplets resting at the North and South ends of the face with deep hand stampings of classic sunburst designs. The band is made with two thick shanks fused together at the bottom center. The forged shanks split apart as they reach the back of the ring face. The two shanks are slightly offset from one other but still have a good round shape and wears comfortably on the finger. This Navajo made piece will make a great addition to your existing Native American collection or it could be the the perfect piece to start one. Cherish and enjoy this ring for now…. And hand it down to loved ones in the future. Size – 9.5. Weight – 22 Grams. Face of Ring Measures – 1-1/4 long by 7/8 wide and just over 1/4 thick including the raised stones…. This is a super thick ring! Inlays Measure – 5/16 long by 1/4 wide and sit raised on top of the ring at 1/16 high. Band Measures – 1/4 wide at bottom center and splits to 1/2 wide at the sides of the face. Signed By Artist – NO. Stamped Sterling – NO, tested and verified. Mid-Century, early 1960s – late 1970s. Condition – Preowned, in very good vintage condition, with original inlays and aged patina, ready to wear or display. I treat every item as if it were my own.
