A Rare vintage Navajo Heavy Sterling silver Bracelet and Earings made by Helen Long. These were passed down a generation and were in a great collection of native American silver. The subject are Native American Cave Dwellings (Betatakin or ancestral Pueblo) and the work is outstanding. The bracelet measures 2 1/2″ in diameter with a opening of 1″ but can be opened to accept a wrist. Weighing 64.5 grams and being 1 wide. The earings are 1 1/2 and are marked Sterling but don’t have makers mark like bracelet. No post holders but they just need backings. Please take a look at all my other “Items” by checking them out. Here is an amazing Rare Signed T Thomas Sterling Carved Navajo Native American Bracelet. This is a simply a gorgeous piece. Measures 6.5″ around the inside, gap from one end to another is 1″ and across measures 2 1/4. Weight is 26 grams. This is a vintage Navajo old pawn, silver and turquoise decorated clock signed by Percy Spencer. While old pawn jewelry is common, Navajo decorated clocks by listed artisans are quite a rarity. The workmanship of the silver decoration and turquoise is of the highest quality. The whole frame of the clock and the decoration were created and fabricated by the artist and the clockworks are supplied by another company. The clock does not work and there is a small sliver of glass missing along an edge of the clock’s glass cover. The clock has an unusual hand (see the pictures), likely for an alarm setting, that has an arrow decoration adding to the Native American style. Since the word’STERLING’ does not appear by the artist’s name, I assume the frame of the clock is a base metal to which the silver and turquoise decoration is attached. There is some underlying gold wash that shows up through the silver on the frame. A nice patina has developed around the raised silver decoration. The dimensions are about 7.5 inches wide, 4.5 inches high and 2.5 inches in depth at the base. Check out the pictures to see the beautiful vintage workmanship. This museum quality bracelet contains one of the largest Blue Thunder turquiose stones we have seen on a bracelet. The size of that stone is impeccable measuring around 2-3/4″ X 1-1/2″. Surrounding the stone are fabulous silver works that constist of unique channeled wave patterns, raindrops, and two huge hand carved silver leaves. The bracelet is very thick and sturdy and consists of a five silver shank cuff. Two of the shanks are coiled and the other three are a unique triangular shape.
