1919 Extremely rare photo of twelve California Native American Chiefs gathered together for a photo by Underwood & Underwood. This is a small panorama with crystal clarity stamped on the back by Underwood & Underwood with a cool handwritten note from the photographer describing the scene. More research is needed but for this many chiefs to be gathered together it must have been an extremely important event. Size measures 2.5″ x 6″. Overall in great condition with very little wear and a tiny crease in the top right. This might be the only example of this important photo that has survived!!
