It is designed by Michael Hoban for his WHEREAMI line. This is one of his Native American designs. This stiff black leather biker style jacket has ivory, turquoise, and red accents. The tribal style design on arms and eagle on the back are amazing!! This is a rare piece! It is in good pre-owned condition, but could use a cleaning and condition coming out of storage. Armpits are vented, waist has adjustable straps, and has zippered pockets and wrists. Please see all photos! Look at that chisel work on this piece! Excellent deep stamp design. This is a rare highly collectible piece. It is signed on the back with the letters AZ3AS? I believe that identifies the work shop. Im assuming he AZ stands for Arizona and 3as is the location? The inside measurement from tip to tip is roughly 6+”, the opening gap measurement between the tips is roughly 1 1/4+ ” and it weighs a heave 121 grams. This piece would make an excellent addition to any Native American collection. Description: This rare, gorgeous certified Lander Blue turquoise & sterling silver concho belt features conchos that have a cluster of 7 small Lander Blue turquoise cabochons surrounded by hand stamped sterling silver all created by the known Navajo artist, Thomas Jim. Marked as sterling silver. Additional Info: This belt came from the Yoder collection. Barbara Yoder was a well-known and respected dealer of Native arts and jewelry. Her and her husband (the former Jerry Egeland) were original investors in the Lander Blue claim in the early 1970s. They took their payback in the form of turquoise, and as such, amassed one of the largest private collections of real Landers. Some of their Lander collection was featured in the book, Turquoise, The Gem of the Centuries, by Oscar T. Branson, published in 1975. The Yoder (Egeland) turquoise was featured on P. Their collection is well known as being authentic Lander Blue turquoise. As additional provenance, Bob Brucia, current owner of the Lander Blue claim, and recognized Lander Blue authority, has also independently inspected this belt and signed a certificate of authenticity. Maker: Thomas Jim, Navajo. Age: Late 1970s – early 1980s. Size: Conchos measure 2″ wide 1-1/2″. Belt is 36-1/2 long overall. Weight is 262.5 g. Condition: Good for its age, normal wear expected, vintage. Please look closely at the pictures as they are an important part of our description. It appears to have a minor hairline crack , or previous repair. It is not noticeable unless closely inspected. This is a fantastic Antique large Native American Indian Doll. This one has a real buckskin dress. This doll was made in the 19th century , It is in great condition. This is a museum caliber Native American Indian doll. We have also listed on another listing a very special beaded Native American Indian Peyote Pouch. We are not sure which tribe made it, but it had to be a tribe that has a Peyote practice in their tribe. This one is a 19th century beaded peyote pouch. We have also posted a few more vintage 19th century Native American Artifacts like a fantastic pair of 19th century Native American Children’s moccasins. They might be Sioux or Chyenne. I will say that you can go to 100 antiques shows and or Flea markets and will Not find anything Native American this special. These Children moccasins are only about 5 inches long. They came from an important Native American collection. We also listed on another listing what looks like a vintage 19th century Native American Awl case that was sewn up on top to be worn as an ornament on an Indian belt. It is fully beaded and it’s about 11 long with tin cones. We have also listed another very nice 19th Century Native American Beaded medicine pouch. Please check all of our listings. This has Turquoise, coral, Smokey quartz, a car, instead of a truck, picture rock, teepee, Native pearls pink vintage trailer, motel sign with a Route 66 sign with a larger lobster claw clasp that attaches to the CP designed ring to attach. This is a size 8 to 8.5 (but can be worn smaller sized by attaching to chain) bracelet on signature rope chain design heavy made of 42g of pure sterling silver marked 925 with 15 3-D charms that are reversible.
