Title is sellers best guess so please allow photos to provide details. I believe this is a Native American Hopi basket with leather buckskin surrounding the rim. The basket is in wonderful condition and measures approximately 10×5. The leather has some areas of wear and there are a few missing rivets but this doesn’t detract from the beauty of piece. I believe originally there was another piece of leather that covered the bottom and this is why the bottom has less patina present. Unfortunately I’m not sure when this was created but appears to be an older piece. Please see photos for details and thank you for your interest.
