This listing features an incredible work of art by the highly esteemed Navajo Artist Danny J. The bracelet is made with sterling silver and high grade Kingman Turquoise. Inspired by designs thousands of years old and executed only by the hand of the artist himself, the work of Danny Stewart is like none other. Using his knowledge in casting as well as an unrivaled skill with the jewelers torch, his settings display great strength as well as graceful artistry. Rarely entering competitions, Danny has won blue ribbons in every competition he has entered such as his first place award in the 2000 New Mexico Jewelers Association All That Glitters – Silver Jewelry Design competition which was displayed at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History. Each piece of jewelry created by Danny Stewart is expected, with proper care, to withstand many years of everyday wear. That statement proves true with this particular bracelet. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks to the inlays and the clasp is in perfect working order. This bracelet is made with 7 octagon shaped beds of silver linked together. Each bed of silver holds 16 flush stone inlays and 1 raised inlay at its center for a whipping total of 119 stones. This design, although painstakingly difficult and requiring more patience than most have, creates a beautifully handcrafted work of Art that will last for years to come. Length when clasped together – 8, will fit several wrist sizes depending on how loose or tight you prefer. It fits my 6-1/8 wrist nicely without falling off and of course could fit up to 7-3/4 wrist comfortably without being too tight. Width of links – Each octagon bed of silver has a width of just under 7/8. Raised center stones measure – Each centered stone in the 7 links has a width of 3/8 and dome up from the setting at approximately 1/16 too 1/8. Half circle inlays measure – Each half circle inlay surrounding the outer edge of each link have a width of approx. 1/4 and a length of approx. Tiny triangle inlays measure – Each tiny triangular inlay between the outer inlays and the center stone have a width of 1 millimeter or less… They are very tiny, yet perfectly positioned and laid, absolutely amazing!!
