Jobeth became famous in an odd way in 2002 when her jewelry was featured on models in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. This is etch signed with her correct hallmark “Mary Jobeth Mayes Zuni (with a hand drawn cornstalk)”. Her hand etched signature and the corn stalk is very charming for me and I believe that it is unique in its presentation. There are some artist hallmark stamps that I like to look at, but seeing her signature and the related artistic design surrounding it always a treat! It is guaranteed to be Sterling Silver and authentic. I have found no defects like cracked or loose stones, noteworthy scratches, etc. It has a light tarnish. This may have come from a collection or may have just been used lightly. I don’t believe that Jobeth has made jewelry in many years, so a buckle in this condition is a great find. Over the years, I have never encountered one of her buckles with a “Leaf Theme”, I believe it to be very rare… For both of us! I believe that you will be pleased!
