A Unique Native American Variation of a Medicine Turtle. Shell Medicine Pouch – Hand Made of All Natural Materials. A rare duplication of a natural turtle shell medicine pouch. But with a painted Sterling Silver Turtle shell instead of a real. Silver is fairly thick and pouch is hinged. Necklace consists of 4 strands of wood beads. Necklace measures 28 long total and Silver. Medicine pouch measures 1-1/2″ x 1-1/2″. Necklace weighs 2.8 oz. Materials: Animal Bone, Wire, Multiple type beads, Small stones. Condition: In Excellent Pre-owned shape. Issue seen is some paint loss to the back of the. Sterling Silver Turtle’shell’ and a small dent on one. Of the end pieces of Silver, clasp area. Otherwise amazing vintage condition. The beads or fringe below the turtle shell are all strung. On slightly stiff wire and can thus be shaped if needed. Very well constructed piece!
