ZUNI REX Vintage Sterling Turquoise Carinated Double Row Needlepoint Ring 9 RARE

Carinated Double Row Needlepoint Ring. Signed by silversmith REX. This gorgeous ring has 10 tiny cabochons of hand-cut natural turquoise, set with handmade. The ring is carinated and has 5 turquoise gems on each side. Because this ring is vintage and made with natural turquoise, the turquoise ranges. In color from green to blue. It is typical for natural turquoise to change color over time. “Greasy green” and it is quite desirable. I’m not sure whether to call the shape of the stones needlepoint or petit point because. Although they have points on either end (needlepoint hallmark), they are not straight. Like most needlepoint designs, rather they are slightly larger in the center. Front part of ring with stones measures 5/8″ wide and 1/4″ long. Band measures just under 1/4 wide all the way around. Weighs 4.05 grams. Hallmarked REX and tested as sterling silver.
