This Gorgeous ketoh (Leather/Sterling/Turquoise fringed bracelet) is one of a kind and was made exclusively for Magnolia Pearl by the wonderfully gifted Native American Navajo artisans BRANDON WILLIAMS and KERAH TSOSIE many years ago. It will fit a range of sizes from 6 3/4 to 8 1/4. My wrist size is 7 1/4. X-tra holes could be added as necessary to accommodate a larger size wrist. It is presently in near perfect general condition as you can see from the photographs. All stones (and Lime Green ORVIL JACK Turquoise is both rare and desirable) show natural imperfections but are undamaged and secure in their settings. The Sterling is tarnished. I have made no attempt to clean it up but will leave that to the taste of its lucky new owner. The workmanship on the leather and the Sterling Silver on this piece of art is extraordinary. This mine produces a highly collectible stone, with intense vivid greens, yellows & blues. Orvils daughter Grace tells of his preference for the blue turquoise from the mine, tossing the now coveted green away. In about 1983, Orvil began seriously to mine the brilliant lime green turquoise. After Orvil passed in 1986, the mining continued under Grace’s management, with the help of Bob Hall and Lee Louden, both master bead makers, searching for the illusive vivid green turquoise. Used more for style than for the purpose of keeping ones pants stationary on the hips, these belts are quintessential of the Southwest Style. It has Eighteen (18) conches (including buckle). The larger conches measure 2″ L x 1-1/2″ W and the butterfly conches measure 1-3/8″ L x 7/8″ W. The belt buckle measuring 2-1/2″ L x 24″ W. Each conch features a hand tooled pattern. The intricate tooling on the conches increases this belt’s versatility and value. This pattern is enclosed by a scalloped edge. Here is a wonderful early pair of shell earrings with’healing hands’, the mosaics composed of Sleeping Beauty turquoise, jet, coral, and mother of pearl. In a blending of traditional with contemporary, sturdy sea shells, rimmed in sterling silver and inlaid with bright blue turquoise chips, have historical cavelike hand prints of blackest jet with finger tips of glittering mother of pearl and a signature red coral circular dot, completely outlined in sterling silver. You rarely see work of such beauty, with this amazing intricacy of silver and stone work.
