Vintage and Museum Quality Specialists. Vintage and Museum Quality. Very rare to find Easter Blue in inlay form! This is a superlative vintage Navajo inlaid silver cuff bracelet. This phenomenal bracelet contains a stunning inlaid section that runs through the entire center of the cuff from one end to the other. The inlay includes beautiful mother of pearl, lapis, onyx, malachite and Easter Blue turquoise. I absolutely love how the inlaid stones and shells are wonderfully protruding out from the cuff. Bordering the edges of the wide silver cuff are amazing silver sun stampings, so incredible. The width of the bracelet measures around 3/4. The inside end to end measures around 5-3/4″ with an additional 1-1/2″ gap. The Easter Blue turquoise mine is a historic turquoise mine located in Nevada, USA. It was discovered in the early 1900s and has been an important source of high-quality turquoise for over a century. The turquoise from the Easter Blue mine is known for its bright blue color, which is often streaked with black or brown matrix. The mine has produced some of the most sought-after turquoise in the world, and its unique color and matrix patterns have made it highly prized by collectors and jewelry makers. Today, the Easter Blue mine is no longer in operation, and the remaining turquoise is considered extremely rare and valuable. Make Us an Offer! All Other Museum Items. It is a totem animal hand crafted in gemstones that is really quite remarkable. There is a striking contrast of blue turquoise along with sky blue opal then contrasted with blood red carnelian set-in jet-black onyx with a flower accent in some kind of shell or pearl. The setting is sterling silver 925 and has a nice weight (not hollow but old school very well made) 14.4 grams and approximately 12 carats of gemstones. It is so thoughtfully made that even the bail has gemstones covering all the way around to the back. Set in sterling silver 925 and in excellent condition with not cracks or flaws of any kind. Well-loved and well taken care of, the only real sign of its age is the patina on the silver that we could buff out if you want us to. We left the cool patina out of respect but that would be your choice to make. 2″ long by 1.3/4″ wide, this is a One-of-a-Kind piece that we know you’ll love. We’ll send it in a gift box along with care instructions for the gemstones.
I have been collecting Native American jewelry basically for one reason-I love it! I believe it to be rare. It is signed Sterling and the initials CB on the back under the clamp which holds the leather pieces tight in place so the pendant will not slide up and down when you’re wearing it! At first, I thought the CB stood for Calvin Begay, but, when I researched it, it came up with Clarence Bailon, who is a wonderful Native American artist of the Santo Domingo Pueblo tribe, which are also known as Kewa Pueblo Native Americans. They are located in northern New Mexico about an hour’s drive north of Albuquerque. This bolo is really unique! The stone is absolutely fabulous. It is a really rich robins egg blue on one side of the stone and the other side it is a dark green mottled with some brown, and also a blue that looks like lapis lazuli. The clamp, clamper, or clasp, whatever it is actually called, really keeps the leather ties in place so the pendant doesn’t slip. I do not know if that particular piece is actually sterling, but everything else is!! I do not know just how old this Bolo is, but I would call it Vintage. Condition is very good! Please view all of my pictures as they serve as the better part of the description of this awesome piece!! White spots on the stone are camera glare. There is no white on the stone and the genuine leather tie is a really nice brown color. It looks a little gray in my pics! There may also be a little bit of a red reflection from the back of my red iPhone when I was taking the pictures of the Sterling back!
