ULTRA RARE OLD COCHITI HAND WROUGHT STERLING SILVER & TURQUOISE CONCHO BELT… This is an extremely rare hand crafted concho belt made by Cochiti silversmith Silviano Quintana d. He worked for Julius Gans at Southwest Arts & Crafts along with Joe H. Quintana in the late 1930s. Their silversmithing styles are quite similar and I have included a few pictures comparing belts made by each. The belt measures 51″ long end to end, buckle is 2 7/8″W by 2″H, the 9 conchos are 2 3/8″W by 1 3/4H, artist signed, made of unmarked sterling silver, total weight is 303.7 grams and good vintage condition, leather is new…..
