This is a very rare treasure made by one of the most talented Native American Hopi Artists / teachers who ever lived, Johnny Blue Jay. Johnny is known for his three dimensional pieces, often highlighted with turquoise. This ring is spectacular! It is one of his more popular motifs, which features a 3 dimensional Indian Chief! The overall effect is even further highlighted by Round Ruby eyes, appx. Set into the sides of the headdress is a 4mm round CZ (1 is chipped). The ring measures appx 1 inch in length and is quite heavy weighing in at 21.25 grams and is sized at a 9 3/4 which could be re-sized if someone chose to do so.
