Antique Vtg Navajo Mercury Dime Eagle Quarter Dollar Squash Blossom Necklace RARE. Given to me by my neighbor 35 years ago and it was very old then. A fabulous Antique Vintage Navajo SQUASH BLOSSOM Necklace with a sterling silver naja with an old green turquoise stone. Her grandparents owned a trading post somewhere in the Four Corners area, and this was given to her as a young teen. I believe it to date to the early 1940s. It is in excellent condition, restrung when she gave it me and worn on a handful of occasions. The coins range from 1923, 1936, and early 1940s. Pre and post WWII. It weighs approximately 10 ounces or 300 grams. The length is a fabulously wearable! Unlike most squashes, which sit in the awkward middle of ones chest, this could be almost an everyday piece.
