RARE Puhuhefyaya (Fernando) Native American Hopi Silver Band Ring Size 7. This beautiful band ring features a Badger Claw design with other elements such as the water symbol expertly made by Puhuhefyaya. The top layer is laser cut and soldered onto the base which is etched. The water symbol is a sign of rebirth and regeneration. Badgers are symbols of strength, perseverance, and resilience, often representing both healing and determination. The Hopi’s badger paw symbol, which features a linear design with a prayer feather, reflects these qualities. Associated with individuals who remain focused on their goals, badgers embody tenacity-teaching the lesson of never giving up, no matter the challenge. The badger also inspires strength and self-reliance, encouraging those who are shy or fearful to embrace their inner courage, adopt a bold perspective, and pursue their desires with unwavering focus. Band Ring Width: 1/2 at widest section. Hallmarked with a rain cloud. With this in mind, for item(s) lost or damaged during transit, we cannot be held responsible. Your jewelry will arrive polished. Pearl Perez Talachy is a potter from Nambé Pueblo. She was born in April 1952 but doesn’t seem to have gotten into making pottery until she was almost 40. Then in 1992 some of her work was included in the Tewa Thoughts and Expression exhibit at the Poeh Museum in Pojoaque. That same year she started participating in the Santa Fe Indian Market and a couple years later in the Eight Northern Indian Pueblos Arts and Crafts show at Ohkay Owingeh. Pearl mostly makes sgraffito or painted redware jars, bowls and seed pots. She also does beadwork and embroidery. Please see pictures for condition.
