RARE Vtg NAVAJO WILLIE SHAW Signed STERLING SILVER CONCHO BELT. This Navajo concho belt is in mint condition and features exquisite craftsmanship. Signed “WS”, the initials of Willie Shaw a well known Navajo artisan who was invited to display his creations in the first Indian Fair held by the Heard Museum in Phoenix, Arizona in May 1959. 925 Sterling Silver, Copper, Leather. 3 wide x 2 high. 2 wide x 1.75 high. Length of Leather Belt. Width of Leather Belt: 1. 291 grams (10.26 ounces). Holes on the Leather at 30.5, 31.25, 32, 32.75, and 33 5/8. All the silver is shiny and polishes easily to a beautiful sheen. The leather is strong, smooth, supple, unbent, and unscratched. The five holes for the buckle hook are in fine shape.
