RARE MUSEUM QUALITY VINTAGE STERLING SILVER KACHINA NATIVE AMERICAN. NECKLACE HOPI GENUINE NATURAL KINGMAN TURQUOISE SIGNED JERRY ROAN KATCHINA. He began actively working at silversmithing around 1968. In 1969, a year after he began smithing, he on a 1st Award at the Navajo Tribal Fair in Arizona. Roan was included in the 2002 exhibit Jewels of the Southwest at the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture, Santa Fe. His work is included in the collections of the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian, Washington, and the Yellowhorse Museum in Paradise Valley, Arizona. This exquisite, one of a kind ring is made by deceased Navajo Silversmith Jerry Roan! Jerry Roan was a Navajo jeweler and silversmith who worked for a time with the exclusive Carl and Max Luthy Shop! This shop is historically renowned for the exceptional work produced by the artist’s it hired! This is a spectacular ring with exceptional work and details!
