Rare Large Unger Brothers Sterling Silver Native American Indian Chief Pin Tray
Magnificent Unger Brothers Sterling Silver Native American Indian Chief Dish in very good antique condition. The detail in the design is what makes Unger so highly collected. Unger was out of the silver production business by 1913. This piece dates to late 19th century or early 20th century. Sitting Bull, who was with Buffalo Bill’s Wild West show in 1885, is said to have been the model and inspiration for this line. The tray has an approximate diameter of kust over 5 3/4″ with a depth of 3/8″.
