The work is amazingly intricate. 5 luminous rose petals each flower glow richly with the cold fire of beautiful iridescent white mother of pearl against the warm glow of old silver. Clear sky blue Sleeping Beauty turquoise centers add a perfect accent. This ring is one of the early pieces and the quality of design, material, and workmanship is just exquisite. This listing is for a vintage Navajo cuff bracelet, made of sterling silver and turquoise. This is a very unique and highly unusual Navajo cuff bracelet. The face features of an oval shaped bezel at the front center with a flush set turquoise stone that sits raised on top of an oval silver plate. The stone and bezel were uniquely shaped to resemble a desert storm as well as the silver work surrounding the stone and bezel. Raised silver works of cacti, birds, and a large setting sun surround the top half of the stone with the dark oxidized silver beneath them. The scene is beautifully done with a great amount of depth and dimension…. Truly a rare and magnificent piece of work. The stone itself has amazing color qualities of dark earthy greens and its matrixes and swirls of color changes make the scene even more realistic. The entire scene is surrounded with twisted rope running along the outer edge of the oval plate, along with large superior droplets to the east and west. Two additional plates of silver travel down the sides of the cuff having deep hand stampings and a scalloped edge coming to a point. The shank is thick and heavy with a smooth polished finish. Each end is slightly rounded off for comfort and has very little give. Its a solid piece weighing nearly 90 grams. The bracelets design is very unique…. Its definitely a one of a kind piece and conversation starter. This piece will make a great addition to any collection of fine Native American jewelry. Its contemporary style is perfect for todays trending styles. Cherish and enjoy this beauty for now….. And hand it down to a loved one in the future…. Weight – 89 Grams. Inner Circumference End to End – 5-7/8. Gap – 1 (slightly adjustable, up or down about 1/4). Total Inner Circumference Including Gap – 6-7/8 (will fit up too a 6-1/2 wrist comfortably). Width of Cuff Measures – 1-1/4. The entire desert scene portion, including the twisted rope measures 1-5/8 wide by 1-1/4 tall…. I would consider this the face of the cuff… Turquoise Stone Measures – 1-1/4 wide by 7/8 tall, and sits on top of the cuff 1/4 high. Signed By Artist – YES, Native American Artist, Troiano. Stamped Sterling – YES, tested and verified. Later Mid-Century, Late 1970s – Late 1980s. Condition – Preowned, in excellent vintage condition, with original stone and slightly aged patina, ready to wear or display. I treat every item as if it were my own.
