Exceptional piece of mid-century native American Navajo craftsmanship. Huge blue turquoise measures 3 1/4″ wide and nearly 1 1/2″ long. Face measures 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″. Cuff opening measures 5 3/4″ from finished end to finished end, not including a 1″ nonadjustable gap. Wearable length is 6 3/4. And weighs 81 grams. Pictured on my wrist which is tiny! This came out of a fabulous and well-tended collection of native jewelry and beadwork from between 1940 and 1970.
