Rare 1940s Native American HERBERT TSOSIE Navajo Sterling Silver Eagle Pendant. This stunningly large pendant was hand made around the 1940s by famous Navajo artisan Herbert Tsosie and features an eagle at the center of an ornately decorated and partially gilt teardrop shape. This powerful piece measures 2 3/4″ long x 1 1/2″ wide and weighs 19.5 grams. Very good vintage condition with some patina according to age which can be polished away easily if desired. Stamped “Sterling” and carrying Tsosie’s designer mark “HT”. A very unusual and rare vintage piece!
