RARE Sgraffito Pottery Native American Pearl Talachy 1985. Make An Offer

Pearl Perez Talachy is a potter from Nambé Pueblo. She was born in April 1952 but doesn’t seem to have gotten into making pottery until she was almost 40. Then in 1992 some of her work was included in the Tewa Thoughts and Expression exhibit at the Poeh Museum in Pojoaque. That same year she started participating in the Santa Fe Indian Market and a couple years later in the Eight Northern Indian Pueblos Arts and Crafts show at Ohkay Owingeh. Pearl mostly makes sgraffito or painted redware jars, bowls and seed pots. She also does beadwork and embroidery. Please see pictures for condition.
