This is a stunning and very rare Black Opal ring in 14 Karat Yellow Gold by the Navajo artist Larry Sandoval and signed with his LS signature. The large dramatic Native American ring has magnificent oval Black Opals. The seven opals are in a flower cluster design and have wonderful gold collet settings with gold bead adornments throughout. The colors of the blue and green opals are vibrant and full of life. The contrast with the yellow gold is absolutely stunning. It is always very rare to find Native American jewelry in gold and we are always thrilled when we do as it is just so beautiful. This is one of the finest gold Navajo pieces we have seen and the aesthetic impact of the jewel is extraordinary. The top of the ring is 1 inch (26mm) long and it is 24mm wide. The ring is currently a size 6 US (L 1/2 UK) and can be easily resized if desired. The ring is hallmarked with Larry Sandoval initials of LS and 14K. The ring weighs 9.2 grams. Rare Vintage Effie C. Zuni Watch Sterling Silver, Black Onyx, & Turquoise Snake Eyes. This beautiful Zuni onyx, turquoise, and silver watch is rare and hard to find in black onyx. It looks great as is but could use a good cleaning and polishing. I’m not sure of its exact vintage but my mom bought it in Colorado back in the 1960s. This gorgeous watch might even be a one-of-a-kind item and hard to come by. It weighs 2 oz. And is signed on the back of both watch tips. The watch face has Roman numerals and a Native American chief’s head. The condition is very good but could use cleaning and polishing. The watch says 1911 under the chief’s head but that can’t be when it was made because I think it uses a battery and also because Effie Calavaza wasn’t even born until 1928. Maybe that is the date that the Japanese watch company was started. Anything Japanese is usually good quality and I don’t even know if it works but could use a new battery. A watch of your choice could easily be put in this band. This could be either a man or woman’s watch because it’s not large or small, its somewhere in-between. I’m not positive but I would say its vintage is mid 1950s to mid 1960s. See photos for a better. Of condition and for dimensions.
