This is an amazing heavy very beautiful sterling necklace depicting a beaver by famed Native American artist Ed Archie Noisecat. Inlaid with stones as shown – I believe the eyes are garnet but not sure. Dimensions of pendant 2 inches x 2 inches. Total length from top of neck piece to bottom of pendant 8 inches. Comes with original sterling neck piece also made by artist.
Beautiful stained glass Native American lamp. Lamp has two brightness settings (both work). Lamp is very big and weighs approximately 28 pounds. Measurements are in the listing photos. I’m not aware of the maker. The only condition issue I see is a very small part of the stained glass area on the woman’s back seems to have been repaired (see last two photos). Please judge condition for yourself by the pictures provided. I’m happy to provide more if desired.
This listing features a later-mid century Navajo crafted necklace, made from Sterling Silver and Turquoise. NOTE: Please view all 24 photos. Last 4 photos show necklace on a 5’8 tall model. I’m super excited to offer up this rare Navajo design to all the collectors out there. This vintage necklace is in beautiful condition and features large Turquoise beads along with sterling silver beads placed throughout. The stones were hand cut into squares with soft rounded edges before being polished to a high shine. They portray gorgeous shades of greenish blue with subtle orangish matrix swirls and natural inclusions throughout.. They’re absolutely stunning, all 42 of them in near perfect condition! At the center of the necklace and halfway up on each side are a series of 3 sterling beads, a large stamped square bead followed by large pearls on each side. The necklace is strung on a thicker than average wire and finished with a classic bench bead/cone combo with a hook and eye clasp. There is no sterling stamp which is common for vintage Navajo jewelry however, all three of the square silver beads have the same stamped initials of JB. The silver was tested and we guarantee its purity of. This hand crafted necklace will be a great addition to any collection of Navajo jewelry. The craftsmanship is of higher quality and the square stones are so beautiful and unique. I promise this piece will not last long and we won’t find another one like it for a long time! Stone Measurements – The Turquoise beads range from 10.5 millimeters to 15.5 millimeters. Pearl/Bead Measurements – The 3 large square beads measure 17 millimeters long by 13 millimeters wide. The large pearls following after each square bead measure 13 millimeters wide at the seam. The smaller pearls at each end are the standard 8 millimeters wide. There are several Artists with this mark so I can’t say for sure which one but, more the likely, this piece was crafted by one of the following. John Burnsides, Jimmie Begay, Jerry Begay, John G. Begay, Josephine Benally, Jimmy Bob, or Julius Burbank. ALL have the same mark! – Later-Mid Century, 1960’s+. Condition – Preowned, in excellent vintage condition with all of its original parts and pieces with a naturally aged patina on silver, ready to wear or display. EXTREMELY RARE ABSOLUTE PRISTINE set! As of MARCH 2, 2024 – I could not locate another one of these Edward A. It is my understanding that, sadly, Edward died from the COVID INFLUENZA in 2021. These EDWARD A LEEKITY sets are very rare. Nearly impossible to find them and when you do they are missing their earrings. This SET still has it’s original earrings from Edward and tragically he will NOT be making anymore. ZUNI Native American Indian HORSE Squash Blossom Necklace and earrings set. Although this does not have the typical “squash blossoms” it is considered that style/type of necklace by some collectors. Meticulously Handmade by Zuni Indian artist EDWARD A LEEKITY (deceased: 2021) please see photos for artist’s personal hallmark E. 94 (this is believed to be crafted in 1994 since Edward generally hallmarked his pieces with the year he created them). BEAUTIFUL, PAINSTAKINGLY ALL HANDMADE. Absolutely gorgeous in person. Please very carefully study all the inlay and hand-carving. Absolutely never worn, never used. It has been kept in a vault in a plastic bag from a private high-end Native American Indian artifacts collection for years. There is some tarnish to the sterling silver which is to be expected from oxidation thru the years. Note: there is some tarnish from oxidation thru the years. Genuine NATURAL turquoise stones, creamy white mother-of-pearl seashell stones, black onyx, what appears to be leopard skin jasper (for the “pinto” horses) and abalone seashell stones. No damaged stones, no cracked stones, no missing stones. LARGE FULL SIZE NECKLACE : 26 1/2 clasp to clasp. 129 grams of weight on the necklace. According to MY jeweler’s scale. Different scales may be calibrated slightly different. MAIN LOWER HORSE: Appox. 2″ x 1 1/2″. UPPER SIDE HORSES: Approx. 1 1/2″ x 1 1/4″. Matching earrings for pierced ears. 1 3/8″ x 1 1/8″. Sizes are accurate but due to different measuring devices possibly being “slightly different” I put “approximately” as a gauge for your reference. Huge Old Vintage Museum Quality Heavy Turquoise Slab Kachina Sterling Bolo Tie?? . Listed for a short time part of my personal lifelong collection. This beautiful turquoise blue slab huge and heavy. Total weight is 153 g. Length of total bolo is 4 1/2 inches and 2 1/2 inches across at the widest point. Kachina which is hand made and sterling silver measures two and three-quarter inches long by 1 inch at its widest point. This piece is stick at a little less than a quarter inch. Back is clean with natural patina marked J and sterling underneath. Takes up a whole hand to hold. Leather is perfect, bolo is perfect with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs.
