RARE large size John Gordon Leak / Leekity ZUNI Vintage Native American Knifewing Kachina cuff bracelet & matching pin set that is made out of Sterling Silver & mixed stone inlay, and the on the backside of the Pin ONLY. It has the stamped Picto Mark of a Tomahawk that is known as his signature marking. The front of the Bracelet is approximately 2 1/8 inch tall from top to bottom, by 2 inches wide from side to side, and the inside is 5 3/4 inches around end to end with an opening of 1 inch. Total weight is 53 grams. The Pin is approximately 2 3/8 inches tall from top to bottom, by 2 1/4 inches wide from side to side. Total weight is 48.4 grams. Total weight of both pieces is 101.2 grams. For your consideration is this truly exceptional imperial or oversized cabinet photograph that was copyrighted in 1890 by the photographer David Francis Barry. This is a well known photograph of Chief John Grass who was a leader of the Sihasapa (or Blackfoot) Sioux. He was born along the Grand River in South Dakota and became known as a leader of peace, at times resisting government efforts to take more land from the Sioux. This photograph is in EX to NM condition. Would be tough to find any better than this one. It measures an impressive 10″ by 6 3/4″. A rare size and image for the collector of Native American history.
